The Katonah-Lewisboro School District is well on its way to meeting its goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2015. As well, the District has reduced its use of 50,000 water bottles by installing water bottle filling stations, and has diverted 18,000 pounds of school food waste from landfills and into composting systems.
